Trinidad & Tobago

Republic of Trinidad and Tobago is the southernmost island country in the Caribbean and is known for its fossil-fuel wealth. Consisting of the main islands *Trinidad and Tobago, and numerous much smaller islands. The country is the most industrialised and one of the most prosperous in the Caribbean. *Port of Spain is the capital city.

Trinidad and Tobago has a diverse culture mixing Indian, African, Creole, Chinese, Amerindian, Arab, Latino, and European influences. The island is particularly renowned for its annual Trinidad and Tobago Carnival (wiki).

Piarco International Airport. Buses are run by the Public Transport Service Corporation. There is a domestic ferry operating on the island of Trinidad between the two main cities of Port-of-Spain in the north and San Fernando in the south. Inter-island ferry >> ttitferry.com
