New Jersey holds the distinction of being the most densely populated state in the U.S., characterized by a significant urban, suburban, and industrial presence. Surprisingly, it is also renowned for its lively beach communities and natural attractions. These include the Pine Barrens, the migratory bird sanctuaries of Cape May, the scenic Delaware Water Gap, a 72-mile stretch of the Appalachian Trail, and the striking Palisades.

New Jersey’s well-known nickname, “The Garden State,” is certainly apt, as more than a quarter of the state’s land is devoted to agriculture, with blueberry farms and cranberry bogs scattered across its western and southern regions.
