BUS:Greyhound, Peter Pan. Connecticut Transit – The CTfastrak system provides direct service to and from Waterbury, Cheshire, Southington, Bristol, Plainville, New Britain, Newington, West Hartford, Hartford and Manchester with routes that take advantage of the bus-only CTfastrak roadway.
FERRY: The Bridgeport-Port Jefferson Ferry crosses Long Island Sound daily between Port Jefferson, Long Island and Bridgeport. Cross Sound Ferry connects New London, CT and Orient Point, NY (the easternmost tip of Long Island’s North Fork.) It also carries cars and passengers.
