For 20 years, Melt Festival has set new standards on the international festival circuit. Legends like Björk, Florence + The Machine, The xx, Tyler, the Creator, Stormzy and Lana Del Rey have shared the stages with the latest up-and-comers from across the genre board while diehard Melt lovers have taken over the Sleepless Floor all weekend long.

More than 150 carefully selected artists and bands – Bicep (live), slowthai, Shygirl, southstar, Daphni, Solomun and many more – who are on the pulse of time, play the right soundtrack and offer space for excessive enjoyment and unique experiences. In a musical diversity that is unparalleled in Europe, they discover their new favorite acts and experience tomorrow today, the big in the small. Whether it’s Fred Again.. and Little Simz, Jamie xx, Moderat, Stormzy or Jorja Smith: They’ve all left their mark on this place.

Ferropolis, “the city of iron” is an open-air museum of huge mid-twentieth century industrial machines. These can measure up to 30 meters high and 120 meters long, and weigh up to 1,980 tons. The area is also used for several events such as opera performances or music festivals.

Merging industrial history, culture, and nature, there’s something for every type of festival-goer at Melt.
