Located in the north-east corner of the Arabian Peninsula, Kuwait is one of the smallest countries in the world in terms of land area. Summers in Kuwait are some of the hottest on earth. Kuwait is known for its culinary specialties and catering services.

Alcohol is illegal in Kuwait: it may not be imported, manufactured or served, and newspapers regularly report busts of illegal distilleries.
