Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry’s standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged.

It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.

It is a long established fact that a reader will be distracted by the readable content of a page when looking at its layout. The point of using Lorem Ipsum is that it has a more-or-less normal distribution of letters, as opposed to using ‘Content here, content here’, making it look like readable English.

*North – leave the glamorous cities and beaches of Brazil’s central and southern coast behind and see the wilder part of the country, where cities didn’t really develop until the 19th century. Northern Brazil is the place to see the enormous Amazon rainforest.

*Northeast – or Nordeste is one of the liveliest – a land of sunny beaches, colonial towns, vibrating street parties, music and friendly people.

*Central West – the region offers excellent opportunities for eco-tourism activities such as exploring caves, rappelling down waterfalls or just trekking through the cerrado (an ecosystem similar, in some ways, to the savannah). It is also well known for the Pantanal, the world’s largest wetland, close to the Brazil’s western border.

*Southeast – is the cultural and economic hub of the country, and contains three of the four largest cities: São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, and Belo Horizonte. It also has a lot to see outside of the cities, with national parks such as *Itatiaia (map) and *Serra da Canastra (map) and a long and beautiful coastline with popular destinations like *Paraty (map), *Caraguatatuba (map), and *Guarapari (map).

*South – its attractions range from the historic Jesuit ruins of *Missões to the excellent beaches of *Santa Catarina (map) and the unmissable *Iguaçu Falls (map).
